At Piani di Bobbio–Valtorta, enchanting trails alongside the ski slopes let you enjoy exciting excursions and reach the mountain huts, where you can take a break to relax and enjoy local flavors.
In particular, at Piani di Bobbio, there’s the new Pequeno trail, dedicated to snowshoeing. It starts near the sledding area (to the right when you reach the top), continues towards the former Hotel Pequeno, and then loops back to the starting point passing by the new Orscellera chairlift.
At Artavaggio, you’ll find a dedicated snowshoe trail, while at Piani d’Erna you can explore the Nature Trail. Finally, enjoy the most stunning views of Alta Valsassina along the snow-covered paths of Pian delle Betulle.
If you don’t have your own snowshoes, you can rent them at B-RENT, located at the base station of the Barzio cable car.
